The company was founded by Rob Broekman 15 years ago and continues to deliver top-quality work in the field of painting, plastering, wallpapering, spraying and more. De Aanbouw Expert has a passion for their profession, an eye for detail and attention to their customers. From small renovations to complete new constructions, the team of experts can help to design and generate quotes tailored to their clients' needs.
However, De Aanbouw Expert observed that understanding clients’ needs could be as challenging as creating custom drawings and cost estimates demanded time and resources. So in 2017, they decided that they wanted to search for a better solution to help them save time and money through digitisation.

Challenge:
Upon starting their activity, their norm was to approach interested clients, discuss the various options, and produce drawings and cost estimations aligned with the client's choices. Calculating quotes on Excel sheets and drawing mock-ups in CAD was a taxing process.
This barrier led the team to seek alternate solutions and that’s what led them to getting in contact with Packhunt.

Solution:
De Aanbouw Expert now has two configurators for their clients: one for extensions and one for dormers.
Within seconds, the configurator can generate a model — helping clients to customise the materials, details and quotes of their ideal extension on the spot.
These features were developed to save time for De Aanbouw Expert and to provide their clients with the opportunity to customise their own extension/ dormer designs based on predefined rules and possibilities by the Aanbouw Expert team.
Rob provided us with their formula-based Excel sheets and we were then able to implement this in the automated quote generations. This allowed them to maintain control over the cost calculations but still provided the benefits of automation.
